On the market since 2011, Usu has proven itself to be a quintessential foldable table. It’s stood the test of time — met the demands of heavy contract use worldwide — demonstrating a high caliber of design and quality. Sturdy and versatile, the table is a popular choice for the price-conscious consumer who wants a sophisticated aesthetic, a space-saving build, and ultimate ease of handling.
HOWE team ha decided to create new Usu in an upgraded version. This new version allows both horizontal and vertical stacking for extra flexible use. Its folding mechanism is even more clever, making the table’s handling safer, easier, and more intuitive overall. The feel is smooth. With a stacking height of only 72mm/2.83″, the new Usu is more compact, too, making smarter use of space. Strong and extraordinarily stackable, it’s one of the best multi-use tables on the market. It is availble in diffrent shapes and sizes dedicated for diffrent markets (EU and US sepcific sizes).
Pure simplicity. Elegant lines. Lightweightness. Usu is an attractive option for agile applications in any corporate, healthcare, educational, or restaurant space. Its minimal form fits perfectly with other furniture styles, making it a brilliant piece.

It uses environmentally friendly trivalent chromium plating, reducing chemical use and health risks. Designed for easy disassembly with a screwdriver, the table is 86% recyclable overall, with the base being 88% recyclable. Plastic components are marked with ASTM resin identification codes for proper recycling sorting.

HOWE Furniture was founded in 1928 in Connecticut by Harold Howe. Inspired by the early Bauhaus movement – and the principle of form following function – HOWE started out making just about any furniture that was simple and outstandingly flexible. We take pride in continuing to explore this modern design tradition.
