Designed in Sweden, the Premium Rigid Core Collection is the next generation of high-end rigid core flooring that looks and feels like the most luxurious wood floor. It is a premium flooring experience without the premium cost.
The Rigid Core Collection from BJELIN (formerly Välinge Flooring) consists of 9"x72" XL size panels in eight decors featuring Embossing in Register, which makes it easy to bring luxury to virtually any room.
It features Välinge Innovations’ reliable 5G Dry locking system. This not only provides you with the fastest, strongest, and easiest fold-down installation system available on the market, but it also offers a unique, watertight joint. With 5G Dry, your floor is a breeze to install and withstands the mess of everyday chaos.
Rigid Core is also made with the revolutionary Liteback technology which effectively minimizes the mark these floors leave on the planet. Liteback provides for up to 20% recovery of raw materials in manufacturing, reducing the weight of the floor and, as a result, significantly decreasing the supply chain carbon footprint. The lighter weight means the panels are easier – and safer – to both transport and install. This unique production method successfully imbues the floor with noise-canceling properties and combined with the high-quality IXPE attached to the backside of the product, noise absorption is further optimized leading to a much-improved sound environment.
Bjelin is part of the Pervanovo Invest AB Group and develops and manufactures a wide product range of both traditional wooden floors and innovative floors from new materials. The development is performed in collaboration with the sister company Välinge Innovation AB, best known as the inventors of the click floor.
The production takes place in our state-of-the-art factories in Sweden and in northern Croatia, where we have access to high-quality FSC-certified wood and highly experienced employees who, for generations, have worked to refine the well-known Slavonic oak into wine barrels and today into floors.
The Pervanovo Group, which currently has just over 2,000 employees, with production facilities in Viken (Sweden) and in Bjelovar, Ogulin, Otok and Vinkovci (northern Croatia), will in the next few years expand its production capacity to meet the demand for, mainly, wider Hardened Wood-planks and clickable strips for glue-free installation of Herringbone Parquet.
The founders of Bjelin and Välinge invented the first click floor in 1993 and developed, in 1977 during their employment at Perstorp, the world's first laminate floor.
