Gardens Collection By Formafantasma

Best of 2024
GARDENS is the first collection created by Rubelli under the creative direction of Formafantasma. Focused on one of the most archetypal themes in the world of textiles and that most identifies the various eras - the botanical and the floral - GARDENS is conceived to highlight the qualitative strengths of Rubelli: the richness of decorative motifs, the extraordinary quality of silk, the meticulous study of colours and the eclectic approach to production techniques. As gardens are varied and host medicinal herbs, vegetables, symbolic plants or splendid ornamental flowers, so the GARDENS collection abounds in variety and includes jacquards, velvets, taffetas, embroidered fabrics. Decorative motifs from the most diverse eras, textures inspired by elements of nature, and a sometimes unexpected colour palette: everything speaks the language of Rubelli. GARDENS has a double spirit in terms of use and approach: home and outdoor. The home collection brings the garden into the home through bright colours and figurative decorations, while the outdoor becomes abstract, geometric, with elegant tones. In a measured dialogue that does not go unnoticed.

The historic Venice company Rubelli creates, produces and sells furnishing products, in particular fabrics, for both residential and contract use.

The brand portfolio includes, alongside Rubelli Venezia and Rubelli Casa, also the proprietary brands Donghia and Dominique Kieffer by Rubelli, as well as the Armani Casa Exclusive Textiles by Rubelli licence.

Rubelli is able to monitor all phases of the production process thanks to its style department where designers with technical, artistic and history skills work and to its own mill in Como, recently expanded.

The company also owns a comprehensive historical archive holding over 7000 textile documents, a precious source of inspiration for new collections and for special projects.

Rubelli has a presence in Venice, Milan, Rome, Paris, London, Moscow and Dubai and in ten US cities with own showrooms and, via an extensive distribution network, in over eighty-five countries.

With links to the world of culture and the arts from the outset, Rubelli supports museums and young designers, organises exhibitions and periodically promotes events in Italy and elsewhere.
