Optional SmartTouchPlus™ Technology, available on the single-handle closed spout lavatory faucet, allows for both touch-sensitive and hands-free operation. Water temperature and volume is set using the handle at the top of the faucet, and once set, the user is able to turn the water on and off by simply touching anywhere on the spout or handle. The user can also activate water flow by placing his/her hand anywhere within 4” of the faucet. Removing hands from this capacitance sensing field turns the water off. This intuitive technology is based on the highly responsive, precise technology similar to that found on smart phones, tablets and other touch-activated devices. Should the user forget to touch the faucet off, there is an automatic 1 minute shut-off to prevent water waste. Additionally, integrated TempID Technology signals actual water temperature with an LED light in the base of the faucet that changes color from blue to magenta to red as the water temperature changes from cold to hot. Continuing the brand’s dedication to providing products that help conserve water, all Rook™ lavatory faucets are WaterSense® labeled, flowing at 1.5 gpm. Additionally, the collection features H2Okinetic® Technology on the wall-mount showerhead, handshower and Hydrati® 2|1 Shower, which provides an indulgent experience while using less water. H2Okinetic® Technology sculpts water flow into a wave pattern to provide a wider coverage area while also controlling the shape, velocity and thermal dynamics of the water droplets to create a warmer, more drenching experience that is consistent even at lower water pressures (as low as 20 psi).
