Features and advantages: Easy and efficient connection between threshold and frame: Serving as adapter between the threshold cut in a right angle and the individually shaped timber or PVC frame profile, the threshold-to-frame connector provides - efficient assembly - high static values due to the involvement of the steel reinforcement of the frame- high impact resistance- colour fastness Optional variants available: with thermal break or with thermal insulation. The thermal break is achieved with Begru or PVC profiles.- Begru profiles are absolutely water repellent, unbreakable, scratch resistant andof low flammability.- PVC profiles are efficient and economical.Both systems avoid condensation on the inside, offer improved thermal insulation and guarantee for better sealing against moisture. Due to thermal break, the heat flow at the bottom of the door is considerably reduced. The surface temperature on thresholds with thermal break is noticably higher than on thresholds without. With the G.U "nipple fixing method" which is unique on the market or with G.U extension profiles and connecting profiles, HTS thresholds can be extended to the dimension desired. All threshold variants have thermal insulation provided by a PVC profile (black or white) located in the striking area. The material is designed for high stress and especially thick in the tread area. Further features of G.U thresholds are a generous swirl chamber and a 5° slope to guarantee optimum water drain. Since sealing with silicone is not necessary, a sophisticated appearance is achieved.
