It is installed in existing locks and furniture prepared for a profile cylinder; integration in mechanic locking suites or registered differ applications is possible within the janus ® system. Identification from both sides is effected via contact-less transponder in connection with the mechanic key. The allocation or with-drawal of electronic locking authorisations can be effected quickly and indivi-dually as and when required. In offline operating mode it is possible to administrate 999 users and 1.000 actions. Wireless programming is possible via data interface; with declining battery capacity, a visual alarm is released. There is also visual indication if a key was left in the lock without intention.
