Years ago the Victoria & Albert Museum published a stunning volume from their collection, highlighting the influence of the textiles, the shape of the kimono garment and the contemporary translations of both. In 2022 the Met in New York featured the "Kimono Style" exhibit, tracing the transformation of the kimono from the EDO period (when artistic sophistication in Japanese textiles was at its peak) through the early 20th century, as the t-shaped garment was adapted to suit the lifestyle of modern Japanese women.

They are antibacterial, antimicrobial and dynamic insulators: warm you when the weather is cold, keep you cool when it's hot. They meet ACT Standards for contract textiles, and are inherently FR, passing NFPA 260, British Standard 7175 and International Maritime Organization (IMO) Standards.
