Lichen wallpaper began as a gouache painting, which was worked into with pen to give a textural illusion and is available in two colour ways.
Lichen is so often uncelebrated and unnoticed. It doesn’t have beautiful bright flowers, it isn’t glamorous, but the intricate structures and endless shades of dusty grey greens in this group of organisms are delicately beautiful and despite their apparent fragility can survive for hundreds of years. Lichen will only grow where the air is pure, so if you spot some on a gnarly tree or a hidden rock, you can be reassured that you are breathing clean air.
Lichen wallpaper is made at one of the few remaining family run wallpaper printers in the UK

Notes
launched in March 21
Abigail began her career studying fine art at Wimbledon School of Art in London and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, but it was whilst completing internships at art galleries in New York that a passion for interiors took over and she returned to London in 1999 to style shoots for magazines. With a love of texture and simplicity Abigail now styles, and consults for a diverse range of editorial and commercial clients. She launched her first hand drawn wallpaper collection in 2011.
