Zephyr is the only hood manufacturer that has developed a mass-market designer hood from a hand-crafted vision. No other manufacturer has created machine-tooled products that are approachable and affordable, yet still posses a strong design element. Zephyr filled this market gap by offering a designer hood with a sleek aesthetic, powerful performance, and innovative technology.Zephyr developed a chemical process to create the Rose Gold and Black Mirror finish, which ensured the product is more durable, and is easier to clean when cooking with grease and high heat. The material is 304 stainless steel with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) titanium coating that is carried out in a vacuum at very high temperatures. This process was especially tedious when creating the Black Mirror finish that could have easily reflected impurities with every angle. Zephyr used its manufacturing capabilities to develop this color process and now mass produces the Okeanito dropping the price significantly. The targeted users are homeowners and designers that appreciate signature, timeless design and are in the market for powerful, high quality ventilation. The user benefits with a piece of art for the kitchen and a range hood that has powerful performance and added features, such as: Zephyr’s Bloom™ HD LED light bulbs. Available in sizes 36”, 42”, and 48”. Professional baffle filters and 290, 600 or 1,000 CFM blower options and now with an optional remote control.
