PRETZEL consists of 4 groups of stems spiraling down the main spine to create a dynamic and active movement. The braces hold each other like a truss system transferring the vertical load down toward the ground. The cascading form is influenced by cubist paintings and motion photography which capture movements of stepping down objects in series of timeframes. The combination of each floral group can create a variety of patterns following the floral arrangement. This is a large size vase to be visible from a distance and from multiple directions as it creates different scenes from each viewpoint. Each group contains three test tubes which can be easily removed from the vase for water refill without moving the vase itself.
