The Stratus collection is Selamat's flagship series of outdoor furniture, and features a bench, coffee table, end table and chair. Designed by Australian designer Jarrod Lim, the collection is intended to stand out of the pack of outdoor teak with a cleaner, more streamlined look. The slatted teak and stainless steel pieces have a museum-quality elegance, yet provide comfortable and durable seating for the elements. The collection is best suited for urban environments, but it fits well wherever a more contemporary look is valued. The Stratus line would be equally as comfortable on a roof-deck in Manhattan as it would on the porch of a South Beach condo, or even on the patio of a Napa winery. The teak featured in the Stratus collection is plantation-grown teak, from government managed farms in Indonesia. Selamat Designs makes every effort to utilize as much of the wood as possible, using off-cuts for its smaller accessories.
