Grade is a chair series (side, arm and swivel chairs) with a multifunctional concept. The concept is built around a softly shaped polypropylene shell with a molded pattern that follows the curves of the back and seat giving Grade a clear visual identity and comfort.rnrnGrade’s seat shell is available in three colors – white, black and beige. Its steel frame and arms are chrome or powder coated. The polypropylene armrests match the color of the seat shell. The chair is available with or without a fixed seat pad. rnrnGuided by the principle that furniture must not dominate its surroundings, Peter Hiort-Lorenzen & Johannes Foersom set out to create strong quiet designs. As Peter explains: “The hardest part of our work is to reach the point where our designs are totally clear, the point where all the ’noise’ is gone from the design.“ Grade fully satisfies this design principle.rn
