Sunshine and Shadow 165

1996 IIDA Product Design Award: APEX AwardInspired by the quilts made by the Amish people of rural Ohio, Illinois and Pennsylvania, Sunshine and Shadow offers the designer an all-over bouclé texture with a checkerboard effect. The pattern is named for the traditional quilt pattern Sunshine and Shadow, which is known for its light and dark checkered pattern. The scale of the pattern has been kept small, however, so the overall effect is of a very usable, comfortable texture suitable for use on all kinds of seating. Sunshine and Shadow is woven of 100% Avora FR polyester, utilizing innovative bouclé yarns for added luxury, creating a performance oriented fabric that also meets the most demanding esthetic criteria.
