Whisper - illuminated floor standing acrylic mulit-dimensional space divider. Designed as both floor and desktop system. Multiple units able to work together or in line for larger installations. Custom sizes, finishes and materials available. All custom, hand made and hand sanded pieces to order illuminated and non illuminated. Fantastic with multiple units to cover larger custom arrangements and compositions. 48" long x 10" wide x 6" deep Acrylic Rods: assorted sizes 1/8" -1/4" diameters x 6" to 72" tall

BiographyIn September 2002, Robert Rabinovitz moved to New York City and founded Robert Rabnovitz Studio as a continuation of his multi-disciplinary art and design consultancy work. Prior to graduating from Cranbrook Academy of Art �s MFA program in 1992, Robert worked as an Industrial Designer for 10 years in a variety of design consultancies around the United States. While at Cranbrook Robert received the first Steelcase Furniture Design Scholarship and began an in-depth investigation into experiential objects, environments and furniture. His art and design work continues in this realm on a variety of projects including furniture, installations, tabletop, lighting, textiles and accessories.Robert has over 20 years of experience as an Industrial Designer and 12 years as a design educator. Professionally, Robert has been Full-time faculty as Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin- Stout and The College for Creative Studies in Detroit. In NYC , he continues to teach at Parsons The New School for Design and Pratt Institute. He has exhibited nationally for his art and design work in Philadelphia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and in New York at Jim Kempner Fine Art, Felissimo Design House and ICFF 2000. His work has been published in Product Design 2 and has received awards for work on the Moen Revolution Showerhead including Design Patent, 2002 Business Week IDEA Bronze and ID Annual Design Distinction Awards.
