Group Goetz Architects (GGA) was retained to provide complete interior architecture and design services for the public spaces of Georgetown University Law Center academic and physical fitness buildings ‚¬â€œ part of an urban academy complex in Washington, DC. Included are lobbies, a student lounge, food service area, juice bar, and a seating area overlooking the swimming pool. Spaces within the academic building also comprise a library, moot court, connecting stair and classrooms. Additionally, GGA provided furniture services including furniture design concepts, design development, contract administration and furniture administration.GGA was hired as the directing interior architect to oversee the interior design of buildings that were worked on by two different base building architects. Through its design of the public spaces, GGA has provided a unified design language and created a coherent relationship between two buildings divergent in both space and function.
