Flavor Paper has teamed up with Manhattan-based floral designer Ovando to present a stunning new wallpaper mural titled Élan Vital. Élan Vital is a modern interpretation of a still life artwork that utilizes the incomparable floral-arranging skills of Ovando to evoke a similar reproduction of flowers on a massive scale. The level of photographic detail in the work is stunning, and translates Ovando’s dynamically-shaped, colorful floral arrangements into an artwork itself. Flavor Paper worked closely with Ovando throughout the design process to create and photograph a global selection of flowers that represent an incredibly broad range of floral species not found in classical still life paintings.
Sustainability
Flavor Paper produces Élan Vital murals to order, the arrangement selection, design, layout, and scale are customized for the setting and printed with water based inks on a variety of eco-friendly materials. Élan Vital EZ Papes are pre-trimmed, pre-pasted 24” x 21’ rolls of repeating pattern wallpaper that are easy to install and remove.
