Together with Vitra, he has devised the AIR LINE waiting area system. The basic idea: an extruded aluminium beam which rests on die-cast aluminium feet. The seating elements, armrests and table tops can be simply assembled on this stable underlying frame. The advantages of AIR LINE: highly economical use of space and great flexibility. The system is sturdy and yet easy to clean, can be swiftly assembled and equally swiftly reconfigured. The design is restrained and features clear lines.
