This leather provides the polished appearance of calfskin with a softer, supple feel and cool new colors that mirror the current trends in fashion. Produced on English bull hides (1.2), Notting Hill boasts the rare combination of a polished finish yet a soft, drapey hand. Most polished leathers have a firmer feel. Oil is included in the drumming process which is later ironed and burned to provide both polish and a very light variation in tone throughout the hide. Hide size will average 50 sq. ft., and this leather will tailor extremely well, making Notting Hill an appealing choice.
