GGA provided comprehensive design and management services for a new Learning Center for this Government Agency. The center was approximately 25,000 SF and was part of an offsite expansion for the Agency to accommodate their growth from their headquarters across the street. The Learning Center is the national training facility for the Agency and provides training on multiple subjects including computer training for staff from all over the country.The facility includes four major training rooms that accommodate between 25-35 persons, with flexible furniture arrangements and state of the art audio visual resources including distant training, and recording capabilities. Each of the training rooms has acoustical properties, write on and tackable wall surfaces, movable furniture, and controllable lighting systems, and can be arranged in a variety of configurations depending on the specific training scenario. The facility also includes a main reception check-in and information area, lounge seating for breaks, multiple training break out rooms, business center, break and snack room, luggage and locker storage, and office space for the training staff and Learning Center leaders. Each of the training break-out rooms house from four to six people and provide write-on wall surfaces, controllable lighting, and audio visual capabilities.
