If the UTS 85 FE is used as hold open device in a hold open system for fire rated doors, the respective regional or national regulations for hold open systems must be observed. The UTS 85 FE is adjustable from above for sizes 2 ‚¬â€œ 6 (to DIN EN 1155) and may be used with: ‚¬â€œ Fire rated doors to DIN 18 082, part 3 ‚¬â€œ Smoke control doors to DIN 18 095 ‚¬â€œ Fire rated doors licensed by a construction control board, provided the license permits the use of door closers to DIN EN 1154. Plastic valves with optimum thermal characteristics provide consistent closing speed also with changes in temperature. The supply cable with sprayed on socket allows for an easy connection with the plug on the floor spring case. The plug connection is water proof. The length of both cable and hose is approx. 3,5 m.
