Race’s first design in 1945. Made of fighter-plane aluminium with parachute silk upholstery. The pioneering design and use of material were awarded a gold medal at the Triennale di Milano in 1955. The BA3 model is a classic dining chair without arm rests, whereas the BA3A does have arm rests.
