TOUCHING HARVEST STARS

I love intricate piecing when the material is wool, seems like such a contrast. This complex star is called "touching" because the points meet at the intersections of the pieced blocks. Glorious color combination--a rich brown (like a dark olive brown) and red orange, And yes that dark brown diamond IS original, not replaced. Amish or Mennonite, likely northern New York State or Canada. Exemplary graphic Size: 86" square Period: 1880-90 Condition: Excellent untouched condition Material: wool
