This beautiful backyard deck by Chris Wajciechowski utilizes the popular exotic Brazilian hardwood ''ipé (ipe)'' supplied by East Teak Fine Hardwoods, Inc. Built by the owner himself, the deck measures 20' x 17' in the main area with an additional 12' octagon-shaped, built-in seating area. The deck face utilizes 5/4'' x 6'' ipé (ipe) boards, while the railings (including the stair rail and top rail) are made of 2'' x 4'' and 4'' x 4'' ipé (ipe) boards. Black aluminum balusters by Dekorators and lighting by Malibu complete the look. The ipé (ipe) deck was finished with TWP 116 Rustic sealer.
