SoHo Shadecloth family

Platinum Award
The SoHo shadecloth is an engineered textile designed for use as a window treatment to be included with roller shades to control solar radiation in a space, manage glare, provide interior and exterior aesthetics, and to meet the design intent for a pleasing interior while meeting technical parameters for a roller shade. The SoHo Collection consists of thin, finely woven yarns combined with designer color themes that create unique, elegant solutions for manual or motorized roller shade systems. The shadecloth is available in 1, 3, and 5% openness, constructed of thin yarn, and is woven in a 2 x 2 basket weave style with a soft hand and smooth texture, supplying a natural accent. The same distinctive colors are present in the different openness selections and wide width windows are easily accommodated. The uniform color palette allows for different openness shadecloths to be used on a building with various elevations (such as North/South). The entire series is GreenGuard Gold certified. This set of three shadecloths are inspired by Joel Berman, founder of MechoSystems and commemorates the start of MechoSystems in the SoHo neighborhood of lower Manhattan, New York. SoHo is where Joel Berman, our company founder first created MechoSystems, the global leader in commercial WindowManagement®. This collection commemorates that spirit of innovation and invention, quality and distinction, and celebrates the journey that MechoSystems has taken from a tiny storefront in SoHo to the top of an industry. Today, both MechoSystems and Joel Berman are considered legendary. The SoHo collection exemplifies these characteristics.SoHo is more than a shorthand for “refinement,” “class,” or “good taste.”
