Each shelf has a maximum weight capacity of 100 lbs.To create double-faced ranges with partitions, order one row with backs and one without. The single back panel becomes a common partition.Note: For double-faced ranges, order all units as "adders", then order double-faced end panels (keyword: Borroughs end panels) separately.Optional Shelf Adapter (keyword: Borroughs shelf adaptor) consists of a 34"L channel to use with the wire book support (keywords: Borroughs wire book support) to hold books firmly in place. Order 1 shelf adaptor for each shelf to be used with wire supports (do not use on top shelf). Optional Periodical Shelf (keyword: Borroughs periodical shelf) slopes, with a 1 1/16" retaining edge that slots onto uprights and rests on flat shelf below.
