Platinum Award
Metrie2 - Made to Measure, a new division of Metrie – North America’s largest manufacturer of interior finishings – is the first company in the US and Canada to offer the hospitality industry and multi-dwelling unit developers a dedicated service with a national network of distribution for trim and millwork. Presenting contractors, designers and architects with the option to either select their interior finishings from Metrie’s Then & Now Finishing CollectionsTM or to create their own custom solutions, Metrie2 removes the hassle of sourcing products from various suppliers - saving clients time in selection and installation. Each coordinated Then & Now Finishing CollectionTM is inspired by a different architectural style and blends elements of modern and classic design. The Metrie Then & Now Finishing CollectionsTM are the first coordinated design collections of trim and doors to be launched in North America. These Collections make it easy to select the right trim package for your space where every element is designed to fit and be proportionate to designer standards.Collections include:Metrie™ French Curves™ CollectionIf you’re drawn to sculptural curves and glamour, or you’re inspired by the classic forms of the Baroque and Empire periods, you’ll love our French Curves Collection™. The elements lean toward formal and ornate, but you can take them in so many contemporary directions. For example, with a simple whitewash you can bend the collection toward Shabby Chic or Paris Flea Market. Use a dark shade of paint or stain and move it toward a contemporary French Country. We’ve designed scenes to help spur the possibilities. You decide how the elements are set, you choose the finish, and you direct the scene.Metrie™ True Craft™ CollectionThe warmth and honesty of authentic, utilitarian design. There’s nothing quite like the aesthetic created by the Craftsman, Mission and Prairie Style movements. Simple, linear, direct. Use these elements as the setting to create a Southwest Style with sun-washed tones. Go Mountain Modern by dry brushing a cool grey stain. Create a mid-century Bungalow feel by letting the Fir grain show through a warm whitewashed paint. So many places to land when you start here.Metrie™ Very Square™ CollectionArt Deco meets Asian Zen. If you’re drawn to strong, crisp lines and precise geometry, this collection is a great place to start. Finish it with clean white paint and go West Coast Contemporary. Stain it a light matte and bring out the minimalist. Use today’s hottest paint color and take it to the Urban Edge. Very Square is a great foundation on which to layer the most contemporary styles.Metrie™ Fashion Forward™ CollectionWe’ve taken classic designs and added a twist to each one. Simple, yet sophisticated. Classic, yet playful. You can make this collection speak to so many styles. Go with rich sienna brown stains and create a Bistro feel. Evoke a Retro look by finishing the elements with high-contrast primary tones. Each of the three scenes in this collection are transitional, melding traditional and modern – leaving enough room for next year’s hottest trend.Metrie™ Pretty Simple™ CollectionAre you attracted to symmetry, but don’t consider yourself a true minimalist? Then you’ll want to explore this collection, inspired by the charming aesthetic and decorative detail of the Colonial period. Examine both scenes carefully. You can easily take this collection down the road to Folk Art with rich historical milk paint colors or more Country with mid-tone brown stains. We give you great bones to work with – you set the scene.Working with Metrie, clients have the added benefit of having a hands on, trained staff of designers and product experts available at every step from rendering to job site. Metrie also offers a domestic manufacturing base, with hardwood, softwood, and MDF as well as specialized plants located throughout North America.

Sustainability

When you choose Metrie, you can be sure that all of our products are manufactured in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. Each of our eight manufacturing facilities is located in the heart of the fiber source and is chain of custody certified by the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®). Harvesting wood locally minimizes emissions from transportation and shipping, while ensuring that the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests. In addition, our mills work diligently to make sure that waste is virtually eliminated during the manufacturing process. With our precise equipment and superior wood quality, we maximize the output of each piece of wood, leaving only scraps that are then collected and transformed into products such as mulch, plant cover and animal bedding.
