All MGS stainless steel is individually machine manufactured, each hand polished, hand inspected, and thoroughly tested. It is 100% lead free, which allowed MGS Milano to be the first European manufacturer to be certified in compliance with NSF61 Annex G. This also meets the new low lead requirements of the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act, which go went into effect in January 2014. The finish is obtained through hand polishing rather than through chemical processes such as chroming or plating. Polished stainless is extremely scratch resistant and durable.
