Set on a solid wood, hand-carved base with flared feet and finished in hand-applied gold leaf paper, the two-tiered Diva Puff from The Antiques Diva Collection by Aidan Gray is based on a design that had a practical use in the 19th century. Used as a ladies’ makeup chair, this design was firm in construction for upright seating, yet accommodated the larger, flowing dresses of the time, allowing for freer movement.
