Marvin Ultimate Double Hung Next Generation

The new Marvin Ultimate Double Hung Next Generation Window is designed to operate more intuitively and ease installation for builders and remodelers without compromising superior performance. Key features of the redesigned window center around a simplified, centralized metal locking system. The Ultimate Double Hung Next Generation Window now locks at the center of the check rail instead of locking at each jamb. Additionally, the locking mechanism has been re-engineered to be more painter-friendly, allowing for easy hardware removal and reattachment for painting without components shifting out of alignment. Simplified jamb assembly receivers now allow a screw or jamb to pass through the receiver for pinning into the studs. This ensures simple installation because shimming at the check rail is fast and easy. The simplified central lock works with a new strike plate, which is routed into the bottom rail of the top sash and is available in all hardware colors. While many enhancements were added to the Ultimate Double Hung Next Generation Window, several popular features remained, including design flexibility, exclusive automatic locking and the wash/tilt mode. In addition, the window’s performance ratings remain top-of-class, including DP50 on most sizes and IMPACT IZ3 certified coastal options.
